• How does AI-cruiter work?

  AI-cruiter uses multiple large language models (LLMs) to accurately parse and summarize many resumes in minutes. AI-cruiter generates a short and organized resume summary for you to read. The AI-cruiter extension can run while you are working on other tasks.

• I am a recruiter. How does AI-cruiter help me?

  AI-cruiter helps when you have dozens or hundreds of job applicants. With a single click, AI-cruiter will generate a short, digestible, and consistent summary for each of your job applicants. You can quickly scan these summaries in minutes vs. hours. Bookmark the most promising job applicants.

• How do I get started with the AI-cruiter Chrome extension?

  First, sign up and log into the extension. You can generate up to 250 summaries for free per month, no credit card required. Second, in your ATS website, navigate to a job page that contains a list of job applicants. You know that you are on the right page if the AI-cruiter extension can detect the job's title. Finally, simply click the "SUMMARIZE APPLICANTS" button. The AI-cruiter extension can run while you are working on other tasks.

• Does AI-cruiter work for all types of jobs?

  Yes. You have full control over the contents of the prompt. AI-extension provides you with a dozen of popular template prompts, but you are welcome to compose your own prompts. For example, you can ask to find publications, certifications and any other information inside resumes.

• Can I extract custom information from resumes?

  Yes. You can compose a new prompt and you can save it as a new template to use it later. You can also use pre-built prompts that we provide you. We found these prompts to be popular among recruiters and tested these prompts with LLMs.

• Can I re-summarize a resume or delete an existing summary?

  Yes and yes. Check the checkbox next to the AI-cruiter summary for any number of job applicants. Then scroll up to the top of the list and click "RE-SUMMARIZE SELECTED" or "DELETE SELECTED".

• Can I summarize my job description?

  Yes. Summarizing the job description helps you remember the required education, skills, and location for the job you are currently working on. Simply click the "SUMMARIZE JOB" button. If you update a job description and would like to re-summarize it, simply click the "SUMMARIZE JOB" button again.

• Will I always have access to all resume summaries and job description summaries I have generated?

  Resume summaries and job description summaries that are more than 6 months old are removed from your account and deleted from our servers.

• Does AI-cruiter replace reading resumes?

  Yes and no. AI-cruiter helps you check the qualifications of every job applicant quickly so that you don't miss any promising candidate. You should always go back to the promising applicants and review their resumes in more detail.

• Why resume summaries instead of scores/ranking or screening filters?

  AI-cruiter aims to be unbiased and fair. Unlike many other resume review tools, we do not assign scores/rankings, because that could introduce bias. We know that the recruiter and hiring manager have the best insight into candidates, and we simply make checking candidates faster and easier. We also do not have screening filters or automatic rejections, because we feel every applicant should be considered.
