To achieve this, Valo created a computational platform called Opal. Opal is the first end-to-end integrated drug discovery and development platform. Opal enables the connection of human insights between all phases of drug development to quickly advance a robust pipeline of therapeutic candidates. Valo’s approach circumvents the need for timely and costly surrogate disease models like cell models and mice, instead depending on their advanced machine learning techniques. Valo is also working on proprietary models for IND-enabling studies to drive translational success.
