Tr1X, pronounced "Trix", develops cell therapies to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Tr1X's therapies are based on regulatory T cell-based therapeutics that mimic the function of Type 1 regulatory T (Tr1) cells. Tr1X's cells work similarly to natural Tr1 cells by: (1) Homing to inflammation sites (2) Suppressing unwanted activity (3) Increasing the production of antigen-specific Tr1 cells (4) Resetting the immune system and restoring balance. Tr1X's technology is designed to convert donor-derived T cells into Treg-like cells. Treg-like cells have a similar function and profile to natural Tr1 cells.
