Instead, Torus is offering a rapid, complete, sample-to-insight solution for infectious disease diagnostics. The solution is the Torus Synestia System, which integrates microarray and qPCR technologies to detect DNA or RNA from urine, swab or blood samples. The test can be performed within 30 minutes and is sensitive, highly scalable and flexible. The rapid diagnostic testing enables early identification of infectious pathogens and directs personalized therapeutic decisions - this also helps to reduce ineffective antibiotic use that can cause antimicrobial resistance.
