TenSixteenBio is focused on transforming precision medicine by detecting cancer driver mutations earlier. Somatic mosaicism is a phenomenon that arises in tissues due to the accumulation and expansion of cells with different genomic mutations. By evaluating how DNA in cells changes over the course of a lifetime by analyzing somatic mosaicism in clonal hematopoiesis, TenSixteenBio is building data sets to measure, understand and use this evolution to inform drug discovery. In particular, TenSixteenBio aims to use their genomic and clinical platform to treat various age-related diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease.
