Spring Discovery is discovering therapies for aging by targeting the underpinning biological processes. There is a growing wealth of data in model organisms showing that we can slow down the aging process. However, to bring these insights to understanding human aging, new technologies are required. Spring is using machine learning, high-dimensional data, lab automation and software to build the tools needed by scientists to understand the complex biology behind human aging. These tools include Spring’s experimental engine, Anvil, that can measure hundreds of cell behaviors across thousands of conditions in every experiment. Spring has applied this engine to discover therapies for age-related dysregulation of the immune response to viral infections.
