Sidekick Bio is developing therapeutics that modulate the gut microbiome in order to treat cancer. Recent work has shown a link between the gut microbiome and the success of cancer immunotherapies. Using expertise in the microbiome, oncology and clinical development, Sidekick has established an experienced team passionate about advancing science into transformative medicines. In particular, Sidekick is developing synthetic glycans that can directly modulate the gut microbiome in order to improve the safety and efficacy of cancer immunotherapies and ensure that more patients can achieve a durable response.
