Cell reprogramming

Retro Biosciences’ mission is to add 10 years to healthy human lifespan. Currently the US spends over $3 trillion on age-related diseases with the number expected to increase as the global population ages. A more cost-effective and treatment-effective strategy is to target aging itself, as it underpins many conditions. Retro is designing therapeutics targeting the cellular drivers of aging to enable multi-disease prevention. Their current focus is on cellular reprogramming, plasma-inspired therapeutics and autophagy. Retro is using single-cell multiomics, machine-based learning, computational biology and lab automation to accelerate their discovery process. Retro aims to begin clinical testing in 2023.
