Renalytix is developing novel diagnostic solutions for kidney diseases. The earlier chronic kidney disease can be detected the better the chance for improving patient outcomes. Using their KidneyIntelX technology, Renalytix is understanding the patient level of risk for progressive decline in kidney function in the earliest stages of diabetic kidney disease. The technology provides a simple-to-understand risk result and has received both FDA marketing authorization and most recently final Medicare coverage determination. Renalytix is now looking to expand their platform to include screening, diagnosis and the monitoring of efficacy and prediction of response to existing and novel therapeutics.
