About:
Qureator is creating technology to recapitulate the complexity of tissue microenvironments to better model disease states and screen therapeutics. High-throughput drug screening currently employs 2D cell culture methods that poorly mimic in vivo conditions. Organ-on-a-chip platforms allow researchers to better model human diseases, however, current technologies are lacking in reproducibility due to their difficulty in use and unpredictable gel patterning. Qureator’s solution, Curiochips, are organ on a chip models that provide ideal 3D cell culture conditions for a variety of applications. The chips integrate patterned hydrogels or ECM components and can be customized to create unique disease models, positioning Qureator adaptable to the needs of researchers and biotechnology companies.
