Psivant is accelerating drug discovery to create better therapeutics for immunology and inflammation diseases. Proteins are dynamic - while traditional approaches treat protein targets as rigid structures, Psivant is interested in protein motion, since modulating biological activity often relies on it. To achieve this, Psivant is predicting the fundamental relationship between protein motion and disease using molecular simulation and quantum mechanics to identify novel small molecules for protein targets previously considered “undruggable”. In particular, Psivant is interested in discovering new oral treatments for the treatment of immunology and inflammatory disorders by targeting the TNF superfamily. Psivant is establishing a differentiated pipeline of targets with high biological and disease validation.
