Platelet Bio is creating cell therapies for immunology applications. Platelets are small cell fragments that form clots to prevent and stop bleeding. PlateletBio is working to create “platelet-like cells” using their cell therapy platform that are capable of performing important biological functions as well as genetically engineering them for multiple allogeneic cell therapies. The potential to create these cells enables PlateletBio to advance a diverse pipeline of next-generation cellular therapies for autoimmune diseases, hematology and inflammation.
