Outpace Bio

Outpace Bio is creating smart cell therapies for incurable diseases. To do this, Outpace is using a three step strategy: ((1) a protein design platform to design new biological functions, (2) a physical platform to test Outpace-owned proteins with generalizable functions and (3) turning their designs into cell therapies. Outpace is using Rosetta, the most advanced protein design software, to custom design new biological functions. These functions include modulating signaling, programming cell fate and regulating gene expression. These functional outcomes arise from altering how proteins oligomerize or by enhancing their enzymatic activity. Outpace’s pipeline includes several cell therapies in preclinical stages, and they are partnering with other companies to further drug development.
