Olaris

Olaris is developing new in vitro diagnostic tools by using metabolomics and machine learning. Olaris recognized the issue of “imprecision medicine”, in which many drugs are not effective for all individuals who take those drugs. For instance, certain cancer drugs are only effective in 25% or less of prescribed patients. Olaris has developed a proprietary platform - called Olaris CEREBRO - that combines sensitive metabolite profiling with customized machine learning algorithms to characterize molecular profiles of individual patients. Data from Olaris CEREBRO helps patients and healthcare providers understand if a patient is likely to respond, not respond, or even have an adverse event to a medication. Thus, patients can find the best treatment for their conditions.
