Oerth Bio is using protein degradation technology for agricultural applications. PROTAC compounds are small molecules designed to induce the modulation of specific proteins. PROTAC-based therapeutics have already shown therapeutic benefit for eradicating cancers and restoring cell balance and Oeth aims to have similar success for improving the resilience and durability of the food supply.
