MOMA Therapeutics is targeting the molecular machines that drive disease with precision medicine. Molecular machines present compelling therapeutic opportunities for disease treatment. They drive both cell growth and survival in cancer, and they are mutated in many genetic disorders. MOMA is singularly focusing on molecular machines and identifying opportunities to drug this class of proteins. To find drugs, MOMA is using their biomechanics engine that incorporates expertise in biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, computation, chemistry and functional genomics. The platform exploits a key vulnerability to all enzymes in molecular machines: their dependence on well-coordinated conformational changes. MOMA will use this information to advance multiple oncology programs.
