Molecular Stethoscope, also known as Superfluid Diagnostics, is an early-stage molecular diagnostics company based in San Diego, CA. They focus on transcriptomic research with an aim to develop a non-invasive method for diagnosing and monitoring health conditions through analysis of cell-free messenger RNA (cf-mRNA) in the blood. cf-mRNA reflects protein synthesis activity in different organs, providing clues about potential health issues. By analyzing patterns in cf-mRNA, Molecular Stethoscope aims to develop a blood test for biomarkers associated with specific diseases, such as neurodegenerative diseases, in order to diagnose these diseases earlier.
