Business:

Single-cell nucleic acid characterization

About:

Mission Bio is developing and commercializing multi-omics single-cell technology that also captures copy number variants. There are many multi-omic single-cell technologies now available, but only Mission Bio’s technology can measure single nucleotide variation (SNV), copy number variation (CNV) and protein data from the same cell. SNVs and CNVs underpin the genetics of many cancerous cells but are hard to detect using conventional sequencing approaches. Mission’s technology therefore has the ability to dissect the architecture of tumors and detect rare clonal populations to better understand cancer evolution. Mission’s technology is built on their Tapestri Platform that can reveal biomarkers to stratify patients and predict relapse to help treat cancer.
