Miroculus is using microfluidics to automate and miniaturize genomic protocols. Next generation sequencing (NGS) is now commonplace in research labs, but it is still costly, time-consuming and requires expertise in sample preparation to achieve high-quality results. Miroculus’ digital microfluidic system enables full walkaway automation of complex sample preparation protocols. Beyond NGS, Miroculus’ technology can automate synthetic biology, cell editing and combinatorial chemistry. The benchtop instrument uses innovative single-use cartridges that are compatible with many reagents and solvents, with development in scaling this further. With these technologies, Miroculus is working to make the most complex protocols easy and accessible to scientists everywhere.
