Kula Bio is developing solutions to improve crop yield and to reduce the environmental impact. Nitrogen content in soil is important for plants to grow. Kula is energizing non-genetically modified bacteria to remove nitrogen from the air and place it in the soil. To achieve this, Kula created Kula-N, a sustainable, organic nitrogen fertilizer that provides the bacteria with a carbon rich energy source - this enables the bacteria to build up larger stores of energy and nutrients and last longer within the soil.
