Kodikaz Therapeutic Solutions is using the discovery of horizontal genomic transfer in human cells to develop a variety of tools for oncologists to help patients with cancer. Horizontal gene transfer refers to the movement of genetic information between cells or organisms. Using their Zip-CodeTM technology platform, a cell-specific delivery system that uses the mechanism of horizontal gene transfer, Kodikaz is creating a broad range of gene therapies. Kodikaz’s approach is non-viral and is capable of delivering large payloads. There are many applications Kodikaz is considering from cytotoxic agents, to diagnostics and screening.
