Tumor-planted Drug-Eluting NanoNail

Kibur Medical is developing implantable microdevices (IMDs) that can be used for many therapeutic approaches to accelerate oncology drug development and precision medicine. Current preclinical oncology models fail to capture the full complexity of human tumor biology. To solve this problem, Kibur has engineered an innovative, tumor-implanted, drug-eluting NanoNailTM for simultaneous in situ molecular profiling of tumor responses to up to 20 different oncology drugs. The data is analyzed using advanced machine learning to offer a comprehensive understanding of the drug's molecular mechanism. Long-term Kibur hopes to minimize drug development risk and save costs.
