Jumpcode Genomics is a genome technology company focused on improving the understanding of human diseases from genetic sequences. Next-generation sequencing is used world-wide by researchers, however, the majority of reads sequenced are undesired fragments that hold no value. Jumpcode has developed their kits DepleteX and CRISPRclean to deplete these undesired fragments and boost sensitivity in genomic analyses. The DepleteX technology uses the specificity of CRISPR-Cas9 to degrade abundant, but uninformative sequences. The kit applications range from single cell analysis, microbial characterization, infectious diseases to whole transcriptome profiling.
