IVIVA Medical

IVIVA Medical is developing living therapeutics to cure patients with organ failure. Current cures for chronic kidney disease revolve around management and maintenance which are ongoing, expensive and impact quality of life. Using their proprietary organ engineering platform, IVIVA is using 3D printing to build thinly separated hollow vascular networks which are layered to create a matrix of relevant human scale. The aim is for these organ implants to function in long-term blood contact - currently, IVIVA is engineering ten-layered renal scaffolds to find solutions to chronic kidney disease.
