Insitro is using AI to power drug discovery. Pharmaceutical R&D is an expensive and time consuming process that does not guarantee success. Insitro is combining modern biological tools with machine learning to better predict drugs with a higher chance of clinical success. To achieve this, Insitro requires expertise in engineering (both software and bio), cell biology and drug development. By having this collaborative approach, Insitro can generate high-quality, large biological datasets that are compatible with machine learning. Biological data includes human population scale genetic and phenotypic data, as well as in vitro cell-based disease models. Insitro is therefore an integrated outcome of both in vitro and in silico methods.
