Gordian Biotechnology

Gordian Biotechnology is identifying gene therapies that can be used to treat complex diseases of aging. To find aging therapeutics, the underlying biology needs to be studied in the right context. Gordian is the first company to perform in vivo therapeutic screens for aging: the screens using CRISPR technology to identify genes that when disrupted or over-activated improve healthy biomarkers of cells. The screens are done in single cells and provide Gordian with high quality data across many species and tissues including liver and lung. Data collected from the perturbation screens are used to make predictions using machine learning about shifts in cellular disease states to identify novel therapeutic targets for complex diseases of aging.
