Gemelli Biotech

Gemelli Biotech is developing and distributing precision diagnostics for gastrointestinal (GI) diseases. The GI tract is home to many microorganisms collectively referred to as the microbiome, the composition of which is linked to various diseases. Gemelli is leveraging microbiome biological discoveries to provide non-invasive precision diagnostics such that clinicians can detect scientifically validated biomarkers in patients and optimally treat GI diseases. This includes Gemelli’s blood test, ibs-smart, that measures antibody levels elevant in patients with irritable bowel syndrome and trio-smart, a breath test that provides a complete profile of the primary fermented gases in the microbiome.
