Evvy is working to build products to give women a better understanding of their vaginal health. The vaginal microbiome is a complex ecosystem of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi, that live inside the vagina. The vaginal microbiome is associated with recurrent infections to fertility challenges, to STI acquisition. Evvy has created their Vaginal Health Test that screens for bacteria and fungi present in the vaginal microbiome to support women’s health.Through testing the vaginal microbiome, Evvy can both provide better care for those who are suffering while also collecting data to improve research of the microbiome.
