Encodia is developing technology to facilitate protein sequencing that can be used for personalized medicine. Difficulties in analyzing the proteome of a cell have limited the potential use case of this information in disease diagnosis and treatment. To overcome this, Encodia has created ProteoCodeTM, their breakthrough reverse-translation technology that enables the analysis of protein sequences. The technology works by using NGS-based amino acid barcoded libraries turning peptide sequence information into a DNA library. ProteoCodeTM can be integrated with other omic approaches, provides in depth information on cellular processes and can be easily scaled to population-level studies.
