Organs-on-chips

Emulate is developing Organs-on-Chips technology to understand human diseases. By emulating human biology, Emulate is using the power of Organs-on-Chips to generate in vitro models that recreate human biology with their Human Emulation System. Emulate’s technology is already in use by many researchers and companies including GlaxoSmithKline. Emulate has already had success in creating a Shigella infection model using a human Intestine-Chip and has developed a range of validated Organ-Chip models for brain, liver, kidney and lung. These human-relevant models will enable Emulate to study disease and to revolutionize preclinical drug discovery.
