Elektrofi is working on drug delivery methods to enhance drug formulations and efficacy. Protein therapeutics are being developed for multiple indications, however, the current delivery modality involves intravenous infusion which can be time-consuming for patients. Elektrofi is turning that time for biologic drug delivery from hours to seconds. With their proprietary technology platform, Elektrofi is engineering high-concentration, low syringe force protein formulations capable of being administered via simple subcutaneous injection. Elektrofi’s technology can be exploited to treat various serious conditions from cancer to rare diseases.
