Cellino Biotech is making personalized cell therapies for regenerative medicine. Stem cell derived-medicines have the possibility to treat several diseases from heart disease, diabetes to Parkinson’s diabetes. By deriving these stem cells from patients it minimizes safety concerns from immune responses but is currently not scalable due to the extensive manual handling, high variability and expensive facility overhead. Cellino is addressing this challenge by building a precision platform to personalize human cells for all. Cellino’s platform combines label-free imaging and high-speed laser editing with machine learning to automate cell reprogramming, expansion and differentiation. This enables thousands of patient samples to be processed in parallel in a single facility.
