Brii Biosciences is developing therapeutics for infectious diseases and central nervous system (CNS) diseases. CNS diseases have increased significantly over the last several decades with few available therapies offering substantial treatment options. Moreover, since the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, anxiety and depressive disorders have increased by 25%. Through in-house discovery and strategic in-licensing with global partners, Brii is building a pipeline of over 10 novel therapeutic candidates that allows treatment options for patients based on two key methods: [1] application of novel chemistry and extended-release formulation and [2] combination therapies to tackle the heterogeneity of complex diseases. Brii’s lead program is a combination therapy for COVID-19.
