Biora Therapeutics is creating novel therapeutic delivery modalities to deliver the right drug dose to the right place. Many therapies are delivered through needle injections that limit the therapeutic outcome and patient accessibility. Biora is reimagining therapeutic delivery by creating smart pills designed for targeted drug delivery to the site of disease. This includes their gastrointestinal tract pipeline, NaviCap, an oral delivery platform designed for delivery to the large intestine at sufficient tissue concentration. In addition, Biora has established their BioJet systemic pipeline, an ingestible capsule designed for liquid jet delivery of biotherapeutics into the small intestine for systemic uptake. Through both pipelines, Biora is initiating several programs on route to clinical stages.
