Beacon Biosignals is building an AI platform for brain data to treat neurological and psychiatric diseases. Real-time information of brain activity can be captured using EEGs. EEG patterns differ depending on genetics, neurodevelopment, and disease. Beacon Biosignals is tapping into this rich network of information to develop algorithms that detect EEG signatures that cannot be detected by humans alone. These signatures serve as neurobiomarkers that can be used as quantifiable endpoints for clinical trials. Beacon’s EEG neurobiomarker platform therefore is engineered to accelerate clinical trials which will help to speed up the development of new treatments for patients with brain disorders.
