Asymmetrex is developing technologies to detect and quantify stem cells in blood. Adult tissue stem cells make up a small component of tissues like the liver, skin and brain, but are responsible for continuously renewing and repairing the body and have value for treating injury or disease. Asymmetrex’s main product is their Kinetic Stem Cell (KSC) counting technology, that enables accurate, fast and inexpensive quantification of the dosage of therapeutic adult tissue stem cells. This technology has value for stem cell physicians to calculate how many stem cells are in their patient’s treatments, stem cell suppliers to check stem yield throughout manufacturing and for scientists. Asymmetrex also holds patents for technologies that promote the multiplication of adult tissue stem cells.
