Aspect Biosystems is pioneering microfluidic 3D bioprinting of living human tissue to use in regenerative medicine. Bioprinted tissue therapeutics falls at the intersection of cell biology, materials science, microfluidics and 3D printing and represents a paradigm shift in the traditional approach to regenerative medicine. Aspects Biosystems uses microfluidic bioprinters and print heads with customizable biomaterials to generate first-in-class cell therapies. Aspect is creating a targeted pipeline of tissue therapeutics to transform how we treat disease. They are implantable, allogeneic cell therapies that can take on different forms and perform a variety of functions. Aspect’s therapeutics have the potential to replace lost biological function, repair damaged tissue and provide localized therapeutic delivery.
