Arima Genomics is developing solutions to map the 3D genome architecture to improve human health and drive discovery in genomics. DNA is packaged into the nucleus of a cell wrapped up in a protein-network called chromatin. Spatial and temporal changes in the chromatin conformation alter gene regulation and cellular function and are now thought to be linked with health and disease. Arima has developed their own Hi-C technology that uses proximity ligation to capture the 3D organization of chromatin. Arima’s high-resolution, genome-wide map of interacting genomic loci can be used across multiple genomic applications that can benefit research in epigenetics, human health and genome assembly.
