Arc Institute

The Arc Institute is a non-profit research organization focused on biomedical research in partnership with Stanford, UCSF, and UC Berkeley. The Arc Institute is unique in that it provide researchers with long-term funding, freeing them from the hassle of grant applications and allowing them to focus on their research. Core Investigators at the Arc Institute run labs that are fully funded for eight-year appointments. These investigator have complete autonomy to pursue their own research ideas. The Arc Institute's areas of interest include cancer, neurodegeneration, and immune dysfunction.
