Ionpath is developing technology for high-definition spatial proteomics to accelerate medical discovery. Spatial proteomic information can inform disease state and mechanism of action yet is challenging to achieve. Ionpath has developed Multiplexed Ion Beam Imaging (MIBI) technology to gain spatial proteomic information that can be used by researchers to explore the tissue microenvironment in disease. MIBI provides a comprehensive spatial analysis of the tissue microenvironment including cell classification, protein quantification and spatial analysis. Within a single scan, the MIBI technology that images antibodies tagged with monoisotopic metal reporters can measure 40+ protein targets including low abundance proteins. Ionpath’s technology has been featured in peer-reviewed studies.
